Age 60, BMI 33 , Sleeve on 16-05-18 in Le Havre with Hospital's chief of surgery, Dr Bernard Bokobza.
I found the endoscopy slightly uncomfortable - but probably because I'd never had one before!
Staff very polite, most speak English ( all doctors do ) - absolutely minimal waiting time if you're private.
Surgery tomorrow at 7am, a few nerves mixed with optimistic anticipation.
( Can't believe I have to do this 24+ hours not a sip of water .... but ... no pain no gain. )
