  2. Hello all, This is my first post on this site, even though I have been looking at the forums for a while. I recently had my Gastric Bypass and I've been feeling horrible since. I've had so much nausea and heartburn that I can't take any of my meds. All I want is a soothing cup (aka sip now honestly) of Ginger ale or something to settle my stomach a bit. I've been drinking gatorade and flavoured water but I can't get regular water down, it just comes right up. Anyone been through this? Anyone have any tips to help the dry mouth and horrible feelings that come with this? I've been talking to my surgeon's team but they don't know whats going on since there's no blockage or anything. Wish me luck, RuhRo PS: sorry if there are any huge spelling errors I'm just really tired and can't spend any more time on this.
