  1. My surgery was on the 15th as well. I didn’t have very bad gas pains- a couple in the chest but they went away soon. How much are you eating? I’m between 1-2oz every 3 hours. Mainly sticking to protein and focusing on getting in water, but both have been hard to get all. My stomach likes to gurgle and i burp quite a bit. I usually take it as I am full. I don’t really feel hungry or full.
  2. I had my sleeve done on 5/15. Being discharged from the hospital now. Everything went great and I’ve had minimal gas pains and incision pain. I may be in for some more pain in the next couple days but I can believe how great the whole process has been
  3. I am also on Prozac and have been for over 10 years. My surgeon said it was no problem which is good as it has made a remarkable difference in my life. I have no plans to come off of it.
  4. Good luck to all those today! I know there were a lot of people on the 14th. I’m tomorrow and so ready
  5. Mine is on the 15th as well and I only have a 24 hour liquid diet to flush out my system. No formal pre op diet but surgeon did want me to lose weight in the month and a half wait I had until surgery as that will help shrink liver. I have been following a high protein, low carb diet to get in practice for after surgery. Also these last 2 weeks I have been doing a modified version of what other surgeons recommend just to boost the weight loss. Figure it can’t hurt!
  6. My surgery is on the 15th and I am very excited. A little nervous as it is surgery, but more excited to get it done! I have been focusing on my pre op diet and making sure I have everything I need for when I come home. Just look at how many people have done this- you can too!
  7. Hearing all the updates makes me feel so encouraged as well! I am so ready for the 15th to come! Good luck and good job everyone!
  8. My surgery is on 5/15. I don’t have tons of requirements as I am a cash pay patient. My surgeon doesn’t require anything specific other than the day before, but I have been dieting for a month and am doing the pre-op diet most others do the 2 weeks beforehand. Want to shrink the fat around the liver for a safer surgery [emoji3]
