  1. God will be the final judge, whether you believe it or not.
  2. I would like to clarify a few things, first I guess the reason I posted this trend in the gastric sleeve forum, is because it's the forum that I read the most, since I'm going to have the gastric sleeve surgery myself. It was never my intention to leave anyone out who has had or will have a different kind of surgery, I truly never even thought that people would take it that way. Secondly, the reason I titled the post the way I did, was because I felt like I offended some on other post when I shared my belief in God, I thought that it would be obvious for people who read my other post and knew exactly my beliefs and what I stand for. I thought when they saw it was me that made the post they wouldn't open it and be offended by it. Thirdly, all you had to do was just not enter the trend, and even if you did, when you read the very first post that I made, all you had to do was back out of it, myself if I start reading something and it doesn't go along with my beliefs I just stop reading it and get away from it, and that's as far as it goes. Fourthly, I do not believe that anyone has to go through me to talk to God, all of his children have direct access to Him any time of day or night and can call upon him their selves. I want to make one thing clear, it has never been, nor will it ever be the case that I am trying as one poster said to cram my beliefs down anyone's throat. My only true intentions was to help people in the best way I know how, I know not everyone believes the same way I do, and that is your right, and I don't condemn you for it. But the one thing that I don't understand is, why anyone would try so hard to destroy something that brings comfort to another human being in a time of need, even if you don't believe the way I do. May we all find understand toward one another. The Preacher
  3. It seems that you have a very big misconception about true Christians, first off it is not about what denomination of church one belongs to. I don't know your beliefs, and it's really none of my business. But I would like to say, no matter who we are, or what we are, according to the Bible we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. I do not believe for one second that God hates you, nor do I hate you, God is not a respecter of persons. The Lord didn't pick or choose what type of people He would die for, it was for all humanity. The Bible states in John 3:16 that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. The Bible says, that is not God's will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. So you see, as a true Christian I believe there is forgiveness for all humanity, that means you and I as well. No matter what you think about me, and even though I don't know you personally, I can truly say, God does not hate you and neither do I. With Love! The Preacher
  4. Amen! & Amen! That's a wonderful testimony, thank you for sharing it with us. It made me think of a couple Scriptures, I'll share them with you because I believe they go along with your testimony. Psalm 46:1 (KJV) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 18:1-2 (KJV) 1 I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. May God continue to bless and strengthen you. The Preacher
  5. Plz pray for me. I have a god fearing mom who is continuously praying for me, I’m praying for myself but any additional prayers would be amazing. I’m nervous and anxiety is through the roof! 3 days remaining until i undergo my first surgery. I'll be more than happy to pray for you, it's as you said, I'll take all the additional prayers that I can get. May God richly bless you! The Preacher
  6. I'll certainly be praying for you, and by the way, you're having your surgery on my birthday, when you get out a recovery we can celebrate together. God bless you. The Preacher
  7. I will be praying for you,my God bless in a mighty way! The Preacher
  8. I have noticed that my feet are getting smaller.
  9. God bless you for your encouraging words, I am truly thankful that God has allowed me the opportunity to meet people like you and others here. Around 22 years ago when the Lord saved me, I purposed in my heart that I would serve Him no matter what the cost, even though we go through the storms of life sometimes it is still worth it all. After all He is the one who calms the storm, it's amazing how He can give us a piece that surpasses all understanding! As long as the Lord allows me I will keep on keeping on, I'm truly thankful that the Lord watched over you and saw you through the surgery, just one more answered prayer! God bless you! The Preacher
  10. God bless you for your request, I just went to the Lord on your behalf and will continue to do so, I'm praying that the Lord will keep His hand upon you and guide the doctors that will perform the surgery. May God in all of His infinite mercy watch over you take care of you. The Preacher
  11. Notice what ellie123 said ! Thank you all so very much for your encouraging words the prayers and well wishes prior to my surgery I needed all of it and it made a world of a difference in my confidence level going in. This is exactly what this post was intended for, to help someone who is facing or going through a difficult procedure or time in their life. This proves that this post can and will accomplish what it was meant to do, yet there are some who insist on trying to tear it down. I guess maybe I should have titled the post a little differently than I did, but I thought it would be very evident by the other post that I have made on this site that I was talking about the God of the Bible, the God that Christians believe that created the heaven and the earth and the fullness thereof, in our view the only true and living God. In respect to others who have the same beliefs as I do, if I did not believe in the God that I'm talking about I would not even have opened this post to start with, but if I did I would have kept my silence. No one is trying to force this belief on you, so if you don't believe as we do just don't click to open this post, it's that simple. The Preacher
  12. God bless you. thanks for your post. You're right, Jesus said He was persecuted and even hated, and He said the same thing would happen to us as well. You're also right about prayer, Jesus said to pray for them that persecute you. Many claim to be atheists no doubt many are, no matter what they confessed to be they will stand before Almighty God someday in judgment, then they'll no longer be an atheist but it'll be too late then. May God bless! The Preacher
  13. Good morning, it's another day that the Lord has made, let us be glad and rejoice in it! I have read each one of your prayer request, even though I'm making a multi-quote post, I'm praying for each one of you individually according to your specific needs. Praying that God will richly bless each one of you! The Preacher
  14. God bless you, and thank you for your prayers and kind words, it's good to know that I have a sister in the Lord like you. I believe that you are genuine, because as I read your post I could feel the Holy Spirit bear witness of it. As I read your post the Lord brought a certain Scripture to my mind, I will share it with you. Matthew 25:31-40 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. May the love of God richly bless you my sister. The Preacher
  15. I'm not apologizing for my faith or what I am, but please forgive me for causing tension among some of you on this particular post, I never meant to create hard feelings between anyone. So please forgive me for doing so. The Preacher
  16. I just want to let everyone know that I have read every post that has been made thus far, and will continue to do so. I truly appreciate all of the kind words that you have posted, I truly and sincerely am praying for each and every one of you on here because I know that's what the Lord wants me to do, even I myself always stands in the need of prayer, after all the Bible does say pray ye one for another. Even though I don't know any of you personally, I do love and care about you, that's what it takes to be Christ like. My prayers are that God will richly bless each and every one of you! The Preacher
  17. Thank you for your kind words, may God richly bless you as I pray for you. The Preacher
  18. You're welcome, and God bless you. The Preacher
  19. You are right, it is an amazing thing to see how God works in the lives of those that come together in unity, in one mind and one accord. He said were two or three are gathered in my name I shall be in the midst. What a promise! God bless! The Preacher
  20. I certainly will pray for you, I will ask the Lord to touch and strengthen you, also to give you peace and contentment in your heart. May God richly bless you in your time of need. The Preacher
  21. I have been praying about this, and really feel led to do it. I have been criticized for sharing my faith in Jesus Christ on this website, I truly do respect others feelings because it certainly is their right to believe or not to believe, even God does not force one to believe in Him, it must be of one's own free will. I feel deeply that there are some on here that would love to be prayed for, before surgery, during surgery and after surgery, so here's what I am willing to do, if I can be of some comfort to anyone, please email me at brotherron98@gmail.com I assure you that I do have a personal and close relationship with the Lord, he does and always has answered my prayers, and I'm sure as long as I walk in his ways, he will continue to answer them, so please if I can help you in any way, email me. Sincerely, The Preacher.
