Sorry to hear you guys had regrets :(. I never did, and really I am not hungry per se, just miss the taste of certain things. I'd love to eat a salad, for example, or some steak. Not really craving anything other that real food that isn't mush. I totally get the concept of food curing bad days, it did that for me a lot, but the feeling I have even losing a little weight has made me feel so much better. I am trying to find other more healthy things to fill that void.

Yes, I definitely want to get some more exercise in once I am able to eat more. Right now I struggle getting enough to eat and drink. I had my surgery at JourneyLight in Cincinnati, OH.

I was sleeved on October 13! I am 36/F living in Ohio. I have 2 kids, a soon to be 11 year old girl and a 4 year old boy. My high weight was when I was pregnant with my son, over 300 lbs. Starting weight was 288, got down to 271 before 2 week liquid diet, then got down to 253 day of surgery. I am almost 2 weeks post op and am down to 238.

My insurance company will not cover any bariatric treatment, and thus I have been forced to self pay for my WLS. I looked into Dr Curry at Journey Lite Physicians in Cincinnati, OH, as he is the most affordable locally, but I still cannot pull $15000. I have started looking into WLS in Mexico and came across OCC and Dr. Ortiz. I am very impressed so far, and am ready to call for information, but wanted to get some recent experiences from those who been sleeved by Dr. Ortiz. Would love to hear your experiences. Thanks!
