  1. Reading this gives me hope for my lower extremity edema & Venous Insufficiency/Reflux! I started with HCTZ when I was 19! They switched me to LASIK about 8 years ago when I was 39. My LASIK is now 120mg to 180mg a day and it barely helps. It’s painful, uncomfortable and looks like my calves can explode at any given moment. The surgeon said the Sleeve surgery will help but it’s nice to see on hear that others have had success and off of the water pills. Literally been on them all of my adult life and I’m tired of it.
