  4. Hey Samorgan, I have the same issue with severe seizures- except I take Depakote 500 ER 5 times a day. I have the same issue- they do not have a liquid form of the Extended Release and it can't be crushed again due to being Extended Release. My pill is HUGE/Blue- and was told I couldn't take it as it could get lodged/stuck etc. I am in the same boat- Not sure what to do. My neurologist says I have to remain on it so it may stop my journey before I even get to the surgery date. I hope and pray they find a solution for you and good luck with your surgery. I know how big a pain in the backside seizures can me. Take care.

  6. Thanks Allwet. I called today it could cancel my surgery. Not taking meds is life threatening. Kinda lost and scared.
  7. If the PLAN doesn't work then change the PLAN not the GOAL!!!!
  8. Hello, I am in the early stages of my journey (90 insurance required nutrient guidance and all the testing). I have a question about routine maintenance medications. I take meds for severe seizures and they do not offer a liquid form and it can't be crushed due to extended release. They are HUGE pills and I am not sure if I can take them right after surgery. Has anyone else had any issues with large pills?

  11. Thanks Everyone for the positive feedback and warm welcoming. I think I made the right decision to continue on my journey and will let you all know the progress during the journey. Thanks again.
  12. I just started my weight loss journey at 595 lbs. I just had my 1st appointments and was told I have a 3 month supervised diet requirement as well as cardiac, sleep study, and other testing before surgery. What advice do you all have for someone as large as me. What experiences has anyone had that started out at my size on their journey. I am scared to death and honest stressing out about the surgery and recovery. I made the mistake of watching 600lb life and it seemed to make my anxiety worse.
