  7. Sadly, yes. But you get used to it [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. Maybe it's different with the sleeve. I had Gastric bypass and have a pouch not my stomach. But I would follow doctor's instructions.
  9. I had Roux N Y gastric bypass 8 yrs ago. Dr. wanted to take gb at the same time but he had too many adhesions to clean up. (3 C-sections caused those) so about 3-4 yrs later started having pain in the area of the gb, so we opted to remove it. Never asked if there were stones in it, but pain was gone Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app

  16. Had my Roux n Y Gastric Bypass 8.5 years ago. Initially lost 140lbs. Last 5 yrs put on 30, but have held steady for 2. Hip problems keep me from walking as much as I used to walk. (3-5 miles a day). I am going to try the pouch reset, has anyone out there tried it? Thoughts? Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. Even with exercise stalls happen. If you're not getting enough protein your body will pull from your muscles. Try high protein milk with your protein powder. Learn some tricks to get it in, but be careful, some high protein items also have high carbs which are ng. Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. I dont have the toilet dumping. I have the vomiting dumping. Several things trigger it, but garlic, rich foods too are big offender. I am fortunate to have a tell. If my nose starts to run after eating something, I know I have less than 3 minutes to find a bathroom or garbage pail. Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. My doctor wanted to take it during surgery knowing that gb issues occur. But he spent too much time cleaning up adhesions he had no time. Two years later out it came. Easy surgery. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. My doctor said no straws or soda for 2 years post surgery, your stomach is like a balloon and will expand with air or carbonation. You get used to it. Why chance it? Why put your body through the surgery for a straw? I still don't drink carbonated drinks and I used to drink massive amounts if diet coke. Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
