Mine was the same. I read so many stories on here about people who were up within hours and taking multiple laps around their surgery wards and feeling fine. I was taking my pain meds every 4 hours on the dot and couldn't lay down because the pain was so awful trying to sit up again. Around day 4 things really started improving and within a week I was barely touching my meds. I hope you're feeling better by now!
My insurance denied some of my claims due to a misspelling of my name so a bill popped into my account for $99,000 ish. Obviously they are reprocessing it with my name spelled directly but that was a shock to see! Here's my itemized bill.
Just got the call to schedule today! They offered me May 29th actually but I feel like I had emotionally prepared for a June date so I chose the 6th instead. Now to begin the countdown to surgery!
I'm hoping 3-4 weeks is an overestimate! I actually go out of the country a day before my approval is guaranteed done so if it comes right on time it'll be a pain to finish the scheduling from across the Atlantic! Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
I just submitted everything to insurance last week and suspect a June date. They said 3-4 weeks for approvals and then 4-6 weeks scheduled after that. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
I'm 31, gonna be 32 in June, and I'm hoping for my surgery end of May. I started my whole process back in September, but my insurance requires 6 months of nutrition phone call appointments. I have my final call this Wednesday so I'm going to get my surgery date as soon as insurance approves! Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
