  1. I feel your pain!...I am having my surgery on June 12th. To lose the weight the dr wanted I drank two premier protein shakes every day and ate dinner with my family. It worked and then it was easier to slip into the liquid pre-op diet by cutting out the meals and adding one or two more shakes and some broth. I’m now down 30lbs and ready for surgery!... I also asked about why when it’s so hard do I have to lose ...he said it’s so they can move around easier inside with the liver shrinking prior to surgery or something like that ...it helped me to not be so angry about having to lose weight to have weight loss surgery! Good luck keep up and it will work!
