  1. In October I had my banding done at the University of Virginia by Doctor Schrimmer. It went well I am doing okay. Not real fast lost but I knew it would be that way. I am 1/2 way tightened up. Any problems I have incurred are my fault. Not having enough protein - only eating 3 meals a day etc. Thought that was what I was suppose to do. Since going on the web I realize I should be eating many small meals and taking my protein. Due to gas expense I don't attend the support group at UVA, so I depend on what I read. I have lost 30 lbs. About 5 lbs. a month. Was walking at first but due to extreme cold had to stop. Ready to get back to this and know that is what is slowing me down. My health is improving and that is what is most important. Do not have my own web site. Looking forward to hearing how everyone else is doing. Blondie.
