  6. Maybe you just had the urge to buy crafting stuff? Lol
  7. That's what I keep telling myself. My husband keeps telling me that even if the scale isn't seeing changes, he can clearly see (and feel) my body changing. So I am trying to be strong!
  8. Not quite 2 months out. Down 35lbs the first month. Been at the same weight for almost all of the following 3 weeks now. So frustrating. I hope this changes soon. It's very discouraging when I'm following my instructions to a T. I see my surgeon and nutritionist on the 9th. Hopefully the scale will move or they will have some advice for me!
  9. My bill before insurance was $146,000. For a traditional DS, hiatal hernia repair, gall bladder removal and appendectomy. The insurance paid like $58,000. My out of pocket was $1500. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Almost 3 weeks post op from my DS here. Feel great except for the reflux or heartburn I get whenever I eat or drink anything. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  12. I'm doing good! Sore from the gas. But manageable. 4.5 hour surgery. Took my first walk about 30 minutes ago. No nausea, just exhaustion. Sipping water and trying to get some jello down. I hate jello. How are all my twinsises feeling? Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  16. I was only required 2 days of liquids pre-op. I'm doing 3 because I can't properly read a calendar apparently! I have been straight up HANGRY. But so excited for tomorrow!!! 3-4ish hours of surgery and hopefully only 1-2 days in the hospital. Best of luck for all of us! We've got this! Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  22. I do! U of M all the way! My date is coming up soon, but a little worried that I will end up having to reschedule since I came down with a cold. Fingers crossed we don't have to reschedule! Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. Has anybody gotten sick right before their surgery and NOT had to reschedule? I have to call my surgeon's office in the morning, but curious if this has happened to anyone else. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  25. Lol well of course! But I'm originally from Michigan, so I'd never be a turkey! Maybe a wolverine! But they don't have one of those either. Lol. So I'll put an elephant. [emoji208] Just because I like them. Lol Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
