I was wondering the same thing. I am hoping to the have the sleeve procedure, the doctor I am considering sends you home the same day.

Has anyone had Dr. Terry Simpson, Scottsdale, Arizona do their sleeve?

I have an appointment on Wednesday, 02/28/2018, for my initial consult. My appointment is with Dr. Terry Simpson in Scottsdale, AZ. I am hoping for the sleeve surgery. Is your weight on that day what is sent to your insurance company with your approval request. This is a strange question but is your weight taken like any doctor's office in your regular clothes or do you put on a hospital gown to get a more accurate weight? I am right at the BMI where my insurance would pay.

I am wanting to have VSG. I have a BMI of 35 with hypertension. Does anyone with a similar situation have any experience with ChampVA. Did ChampVa pay for the procedure?
