  1. I doing better now that I’m barely 3 months post op and have been going to the gym religiously. Had a few moments of WTF when the scale wasn’t moving but now that I’m in gym beast mode it’s coming off. Got a ways to go but I’m happy with how it’s going so far. How long did it take you to reach goal?
  2. Hey neighbor! Looks like you did great with the sleeve!
  3. Hi I’m in Bergen County

  5. Hi I’m in Bergen County
  6. Welcome and good luck!
  7. If you are interested then give me your FB user name and I will add you to the group.
  8. Glad to hear that. I don’t know if you are on FB but there are some really good support groups on there that can be supportive and encouraging. You just need to ignore some of the nonsense and don’t compare other peoples progress to yours. I did that with others who had their surgery the same day as me and I thought I was doing something wrong because my numbers were different. So just hang in there and run your own race! Feel free to msg me whenever you want! I’m not an expert or may not have all the answers but I’m willing to help if I can.
  9. Hi how are you doing so far? The first few weeks are tough but I’m sure you are doing well.
  10. Hi Wayne nice to meet you
  11. I’m 5’4 so my goal is about 140-150. Basically I just want to be and look healthy. Enjoy the rest of your week and hope to chat with you again in the future! Good night!
  12. I’m sure you will get there eventually. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. I know my weight didn’t come on overnight and it won’t go overnight. My highest weight recorded was 293 although I believe I was probably in the low 300’s prior to that weight. I am determined to make this work no matter what. This is a tool and we just need to find the right combination to make it work. I have no doubt we will succeed!
  13. I’m doing well. Had an issue with my incisions not healing but now they are good. I’m down 22lbs just shy of a month out. I definitely need to start exercising so I just joined Planet Fitness so that I can get my cardio in. I love walking but it’s just too cold to go walking outdoors just yet. My next appointment with my Dr is March 12 and I want to at least lose 10lbs.
  14. Hi how are you doing 3 months out?
  15. I heard that a lot of people had to do 2 weeks liquid diet before surgery. My doc & nutritionist only told me 1-3 days before. I only did 1 day because I had a wedding the weekend before my surgery.
  16. I already had my sleeve surgery on 1/23/18
  17. Hi Jason hope all went well with your surgery!
  18. Hi I’m new but I’m a great listener and will try to help as much as I can. I was sleeved 1/23/18
  19. Hi Linda I’m from Midland Park
  20. Hi Justin sorry I have no idea how some of this site works!
  21. Hi all I had my surgery (sleeved) on 1/23/18. I’m from NJ and would love to make new friends!
  22. Hi I’m new here.....Surgery was on 1/23/18. I’m down 19lbs so far. Only lost 1lbs last week when I went from clear liquids to purée. I have decided to stop weighing myself everyday because I don’t want to let that little small thing be the dictator on my journey. None of us put the weight on overnight and it won’t come off overnight. It’s good to have come comparisons to others with similar stats such as starting weight and height but always remember this is YOUR journey. Don’t let anything or anyone get in your path!
