  1. I’m going through the same thing. 7 months out from surgery and haven’t lost anything in 8 weeks!!! I’m counting calories, getting 1000 to 1200 a day but I’m not exercising. I’m going to make myself exercise…I hate to exercise, but I think that’s my only hope to shed these last 20 lbs.!!! ? I’m frustrated and so afraid of the scale moving in the opposite direction!
  2. Thank you everyone for the responses. I did talk to my doctor today and he said it was normal. I’m just coming off the liquid food phase and transitioning into the purée phase, so I’m only getting about 500-600 calories a day, if that. He said that I’m only two weeks out of surgery, and also my body is trying to go into hibernation mode because of the low calorie consumption and to try to stay active to fool it and it will get better. I do my blood work in 2 more weeks.
  3. Hi everyone, this is my first post. I’ve enjoyed everyone’s posts and gotten a lot of valuable information from these forums. Here’s my concern...I’m really, really tired, to the point of exhaustion. Not really sleepy, but no energy. I was sleeved on Feb. 26th and the first week and a half or so was pretty uneventful and about 5 days out from surgery, I had a ton of energy and was thinking this is great. Not so much anymore. Anyone else experiencing these same affects? I’m keeping up with my vitimins that I’m required to take plus adding B-12 to the mix. I just wish I wasn’t so exhausted.
  4. I’m getting sleeved tomorrow too! Can’t quite believe this is really happening, started this journey almost a year ago. I’m sort of scared as to what to expect after the surgery, but not the actual surgery. I’m ready to get it over with too! Good luck to you!
  5. Hi everyone, started my pre-op diet today. My surgery for a gastric sleeve is scheduled for Feb. 26th in Lafayette, La. It will be nice seeing everyone’s progress and experiences. Good luck to all.
