  1. @Frustr8 I do too, I just have to keep myself busy for now, my post op appt is in two days let’s see what the surgeon says.
  2. I also take meds and had to stop taking my meds because I had surgery on June 11th I take Prozac 30mg pills so I have to wait 3 more weeks and then I can start taking them again. So far I’ve been feeling ok, I’m trying to keep myself busy for now.

  5. I'm having surgery in 4 days, do I need to buy anything for my hospital stay?

  7. This is day 7 for me doing this pre-op liquid diet, I want a grilled chicken salad with croutons!!!
  8. My husband has been helping me a lot, he’s been cooking some nights too.

  10. So far this is day 6 on my liquid diet, it’s getting a little easier, I’m trying to keep myself busy with work, tv, movies, and talking with friends, I think the smell of food is the worst for me!!

  12. I’m in the same boat, I’m waiting for my insurance to ok this surgery too! I’m so happy I’m not the only one!!
  13. Today is my first day too on the pre op liquid diet, and I’m freaking starving!!! I have to be strong!!! Dammit food!!

  18. My Surgery is June 11th and today is the first day of my liquid diet, and I have to cook for my hubby and the kids tonight!!! Help, I'm already stressed! Also these protein shakes are making me gassy. Not cool!!!

  22. Oh my goodness, guys thanks for replying back to me, I forgot to mention I’m on my husband’s insurance so I’m not worried about that, but let’s say I find a new job in March or April, and I get a surgery date in June or July I don’t think the new job would appreciate me taking time off.
  23. Hello, I’m 2 months in with my doctor visits and I really hate my job, I want to find another job but I’m scared I won’t be able to keep it if I have surgery in July, I’m so miserable, I’m not to sure on what to do. I’m very new to this, can someone please give me some advice?
