  1. I've followed a pre-op liquid diet for 2 weeks. I tried not to cheat, but I did eat some steak, chicken, and fish, no sauces. I don't really know if that's cheating if I didn't eat anything naughty haha. I've lost 15 pounds doing that, and I'm feeling really good. My surgery is in 2 days. My insurance doesn't cover it, so I'm flying out to Tijuana to get it done. I'll be in Hospital Angeles, which is a very beautiful facility with only great reviews. I'll have 2 days in the hospital, a day in a hotel, and then I'm flying home. I'm not worried about the trip at all. Though I'm acting tough and I'm absolutely excited, I'm still terrified of the surgery itself. I've never had a surgery before. I'm super healthy, apart from my fat, so the most I've ever had is blood drawn. I'm trying to psyche myself up. I'm covered in tattoos, and I keep thinking to myself if I'm fine getting those, I'll be fine with a surgery. I'm hoping that my pain tolerance isn't going to forsake me and I'll be a crying, blubbering mess. What was your surgery like? How would you describe the pain and feeling you had?
