Thanks for the welcome, allwet!!! Yea, I have a couple family members that have had this, and 2 men from work that have also done this......they are all success stories. I have 4 brains to pick, advice givers, etc. I played college football, and was mostly healthy through the years, but let my weight get away from me the past 15 or so years. I'm definitely dedicated to the lifestyle changes to be made, and will happily share my journey, to hopefully help others.

Louisiana checking in Have my sleeve surgery date set.....5/16/18. Meet with the surgeon tomorrow, and actually started the liquid pre op today, just because I wanted to. 53 yr old dude, work in construction, but more in management than blue collar, and the weight finally has caught up. I'm 6' 1", and weigh 378. I'll get some pics up after a few months post op, and y'all can journey along. I've enjoyed reading here ... Jim
