  3. Hi! Syracuse NY here. My insurance requires 5 month wait for surgery but it could be expedited with serious medical need. I wonder, after reading a lot of these replies if anyone is like me & changing their mind every single day!!?? I am mostly terrified of the few days after surgery where everyone says they feel so bad. And then, if I go through all of this & totally regret my decision! But I’m 62 years old, diabetic, sleep apnea, 2nd herniated disc, bad knees, depression- so this should be a no brainer, right? I mean, a few days of feeling awful & getting sick if I blow it should be better than what I will be dealing with if I don’t lose the weight - heart attack, stroke, amputations, inability to function! So why can’t I just make up my mind?? Is anyone else feeling this way?
