I'm from near Somerset. I went to Windber Hospital to have my lapband done. it's been a year since Christmas. I've lost 85 lbs. and no regrets.

Hey Chris I'm still here! I was banded 12-26-07. I've lost 85 lbs. so far... well maybe 83 since the holidays. The band has saved my life... not to mention that I can now paint my toes again. lol Take Care Rose

I had one on my left wrist in college. I went to the infirmary and the Dr. there took a huge medical book and slammed it down on it. It burst and never came back. LOL Rose

Hello from Berlin, PA. I've had my band since the day after Christmas. My surgeon was Dr. Kim Marley. He used to teach this procedure at John Hopkins in D.C. then he moved to Pennsylvania after retiring from the Army. My daughter and I did this together. It was our Christmas present to ourselves! I've lost about 50 lbs. and have had 1 fill. I'm to go this week for another fill as I've hit a plateau and have stopped losing. Also my daughter is going to Italy in May. Does anyone know of any Lapband doctors in Italy incase something happens over there with her? Thanks Rose
