  1. I had surgery 11/13/2017 and in the first 6 weeks lost 40lbs. I’ve also been “stalled” for the past two weeks on the scale, but I’m still seeing a dramatic difference in how my clothes fit...so I know I’m still making progress and my body is just adjusting. Therefore, I still have a smile on my face! I tried on a pair of old jeans pre-surgery. At that time, I could not get them buttoned and zipped. About every week or so I try on that same pair of jeans to see how they are fitting...while they are still a little tight, i can get them buttoned and zipped, and I see a difference every time I try them on — even if the scale doesn’t show it. That’s what keeps me going!
