Scared, but also looking forward to this change, so far i have lost 20 lbs since January just by eating differently. After getting news of an actual date i started getting anxious, fear started kicking in, i said if i can do it on my own why do i need to do this, lately ive been hitting a stall on my weightloss, not much motivation just been feeling depressed, feel like im failing myself if i go through with this, but i see the benefits in so many people that have gone through this and i want that also. Just by eating better, currently started being more active this week, lets see what results i have in another 3 weeks with physical activity and eating right. I am trying to see it the same way. My goal is also to see if i can change my whole lifestyle and try to include some excercise and see what results i can obtain by that date, if its possible to lose the weight on my own then no surgery is needed i want to believe, i have til june 29th to prove it to myself if i need the tool or not Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

So i got great news today, i got a date for May 7th, when i spoke to my employer, they pretty much said it was an inconcenience due to another co worker going on vacation, we have different roles but they dont like when both of us are out. You need to do it for yourself, like you said. Nobody knows how it feels to be in our shoes, only you know the struggles, the feelings you have are normal, to be scared , hell im scared too but im excited, excited for a change. To feel better, to be healthy, to do things havent been able to do in years. At the end of the day, this isnt a short cut, its a tool for us to use, your making the right choice for yourself, these surgeries are done by trained professionals with your health in mind. Im somewhat new to this, currently awaiting my pre op appt. Did all my pre req testing, groups, etc. So tomorrow i believe is to go over results. Unfortunately im waiting on a biopsy result from edg, two weeks to wait on that, was hoping to have all the tests done by tomorrow.
