  1. Your weight loss is phenomenal! People must be commenting on it positively. Think how unlikely it is that you would have lost 98 pounds without the surgery. You have probably replaced all the clothes in your wardrobe. We talked in my sleeve support group about plateaus or “stalls.“ Apparently most people experience them and they are always frustrating. The advice given was to “hang in there,” as people could go weeks stuck on the same number on the scale and then all the sudden lose 3, 4, or 5 pounds all at once. If you haven’t been back to your dietitian recently, you may want to do that so that he or she can review your diet. Try making small changes in diet or exercise or water. I am so impressed with what you have already done.
