  1. The first two weeks I was on liquids. I ate chicken broth, drunk tea, sugar free popsicles and premier protein shakes. Then the next two weeks, I ate ricotta bake and blended pretty much everything from meat to beans. If you're sensitive to cheese, I wouldn't eat much ricotta bake. I ended up being constipated for a couple days. The next 2 weeks I've eaten chili from Wendy's. Made my own chili beans with very lean ground beef meat. Like 97% lean. I also started blending my own protein shakes. I ordered unjury unflavored protein powder. Added spinach, protein powder, strawberries, blueberries and my multivitamins and flax seeds to a nutribullet and that's what I do everyday 2 times a day. Now at 7 weeks, I've started eaten chicken, very soft cooked meat. I've eaten steamed broccoli. Two nights ago, I grilled some Jamaican jerk chicken (spicy) and had no problems. The only problems I have is trying to get 64 oz of water down. I still wake up with desert dry mouth because of that. Also, the eggs. I'm just gonna stay far far away. It's not meant for me. Monday is my birthday and I received some chocolate covered strawberries and I'm not sure if I should indulge ?
  2. Grilled Chicken wings. I haven't tried anything fried yet. Hope I'm still giving you hope
  3. I haven't had any problems with anything else. I have eaten chicken. Chili beans with ground beef. I haven't tried much veggies yet just steamed broccoli and spinach in my protein shake. I usually have a protein shake and maybe two to three chicken wings. I did have cod last week and eating it kinda fast made me feel uneasy. I tried eggs for the first time today and wow..just wow..I'm pretty scared of eggs now lol.
  4. I had spinach, cheese, tomatoes and mushrooms and peppers in it. I think I took big bites and ate it too fast. I got down less than half and the pain just became excruciating. I'll try eggs again in a couple weeks or maybe a couple months. That pain sucked!
  5. That's exactly what happened to me! I had to walk and as I walked, I spat mucus and I felt this sharp pain in the middle of my back as well as my chest. I'm going to lay off eggs for awhile. I only ate eggs because I ran out of protein powder
  6. I'm six weeks out and tried to eat an omelette this morning and now I'm laying on the couch asking God to take this pain away. Help!!!!
  7. Just wondering if this will meet my nutritional goals? I don't want to take any pills. Has anyone met their nutritional goals taking this?
  8. So I'm two days post op, discharged from the hospital and on my way to pick up my prescriptions and some multivitamins. I'm not a big fan of horse pills or any pills. Are there alternative multivitamins like chewables I can purchase? Not on th sweet side either. Thank you. P.S. Doc told me no gummies
  9. Thank you everybody! I am resting in my room, sipping liquids. Stomach still feels tender of course. I've been walking around as well. I have a little discomfort and I'm really trying to pass gas. Anybody got some suggestions???
