  1. Im pretty new to this site, and am so glad to find this thread. I'm registered as ciaovito(e-mail name), but call me "JO". I'm 67, have high bp, and type 2 diabetes. I was banded in March of 07 and have lost only 45 lbs, and seem to be stuck there. My sugars have hardly changed, and even my endo-dr is surprised by that. BP has stayed the same, so maybe I have to get off this 6 month plateau for things to get better. (Are there enough years left?) Does any of this sound familiar to anyone out there?
  2. Hi, I just wanted to say that Dr. Halm is my Dr. also, and I like him alot. I was banded in March of 07, have lost 45 lbs, and am not happy about that. Things seem to be at a stand still. I will see him again next week and hope he can find a reason for this--like has the band slipped or anything. Good luck to you, and I like this site too.
  3. I'm new here, and i think I need help. Had the surgery in 3/07; have lost 45 lbs and having probs. I can eat a lot, very little restriction, and have bad hartburn(but have allways had bad reflux). Also something else is going on-have had 3 episodes of severe tremors, lasting about 1/2 hour, and then quits. It is not my diabetes and have no fever. Could the band have come off? How can I find out? Call me Jo
