  1. This is true. Sometimes it is not so easy though=) Congrats on your weight loss!!
  2. For those of you that have been banded for a while and have lost alot of weight how do people react to it? I started off at 305 pounds and am now down to about 155 and people say things all the time like you are getting to thin, or you never eat, or are just not supportive. I am very proud of my acheivement but the negitive comments that I often get hurt? How do you react? And does anyone else experience this?
  3. I used Dr Denham he is wonderful !! You can call him at 847-570-1700 he is in Vernon hills on thursdays
  4. I just had my arms done and a breast lift in January my dr said he would not recommed doing everything at once and now I see why I was in alot of pain for a good 2 weeks with the arms and had 4 drains to take care of when i got home from the hospital as of now everything is healing nicely but it is still healing i can not even imagine the pain you would be in if you did it all at once. Start on the top and work your way down that is what i am going to do and I look GREAT and feel good . Best of luck!
  5. Thank you for your kind words I will be ok but it is just so frustrating..
  6. Hey Guys I just need support  I went to my Drs office on Thursday because for a couple of weeks I had really bad acid reflux all of a sudden.. I had my fill on 04/15 and was fine until just recent.. anyway he said he thought I was ok and he ordered an upper GI for me, and prescribed me Proilosac, and told me he was on vacation all this week so no rush for the upper GI because I was able to eat and drink ok.. well go figure come friday night I was unable to eat or drink, hold any liquid down or food, I went to the ER because I knew I was dehydrated and they treated me for GERD and gave me fluids thru an IV.. I thought I was fine on sunday I felt a little better and then sunday night it started again could not keep any fluids down or food.. went back to the ER on monday where they rehydrated me and took out .75 of the fluid:thumbdown: now I am so worried I am going to gain weight again.. the dr told me to give it about 2 weeks and then I can get a small fill and we will go from there but I am so close to my goal I am at 185 and my goal is 175 has anyone else been in this situation and can offer reassurance I am so sad and worried! Thanks

  12. As a matter of fact I just went to Great America last weekend with my kids and I was 3 1/2 weeks post op I felt ok going on some of the rides, just take some tylenol just in case, I also stoped at guest realotions on my way out and asked them about brining food into the park because of dietery puropses, they said it was fine in a small cooler you have to go to the guest service window and they look at it to make sure it is stuff they do not sell in the park, then they will let you have it.. that is the six flags in IL.
  13. Not at all I had my surgery on July 30th and that is my goal as well I am now 233 I was 250 pre op..:smile2:
