  1. Hi I had op 7 weeks ago by dr couch I’m fine but struggling with the concept of half a cup only for the rest of my life unless of course I have the restrictor removed. Did u choose to have the restrictor inserted if so make very sure your ready for the limits ur placing on yourself.

Hi all I had surgery 7 weeks ago with dr couch who recommended a restrictor be used This limits your intake to half a cup for the rest of your life, the rest of your life was not mentioned at the time ! I don’t think there was enough information and talk about what this would mean. I’m coping but have some serious depression issues these last 2 weeks. Will have to get out of this mind set. Cooking was a great joy to me and for the moment I have lost the joy bugger!! Has anyone on this forum had the restrictor inserted at surgery I& so I would really like to know how your going and maybe some advice. I have lost 20 kg with another 20 to go.
