  4. I'm 5 days post op and just wanted to say that you should surround yourself with those who will support you as much as you can. Lots of people don't understand what the surgery is about, heck, a year ago even I didn't know. Also if you've never been obese you wouldn't know how it affects every aspect of your life. So you cannot let their opinions affect you. Best wishes to you
