  1. Have any of you guys had poke? I used to eat it quite a bit before I had surgery and I was hoping I can enjoy it in the future again but I’m not sure. And has anyone had issues with crab meat?
  2. I didn’t say I was going to at 3 days post op it was a discussion we had but I want to wait awhile. That’s the last thing on my mind right now just wanted to get feedback
  3. That’s how I feel right now and I’m just three days out. I’m hoping maybe a month out but I don’t want to put a lot of pressure on my stomach.
  4. When were you and your significant other able to have sex? My boyfriend asked me and I wasn’t too sure. I’m going to ask my surgeon as well but it’s kind of awkward.
  5. It’s frustrating because I never realized how good orientated my life was but the craving is just stuck in my head and probably will be till I’m allowed to have it
  6. I’m two days post op and I didn’t have to drink those weird fish drinks. And those walks after surgery are the best. And that breathing thing really does help. My best friend stayed the night with me and got a couch to lay on for the whole night but they provided pillows and a blanket but we had our night nurses on a routine. I had them come in wake me up and let me use the restroom then we’d go for a walk and then I’d come and take a nap till it was time again for me to go for another pee/ walk.
  7. Yea steak is red meat. And I don’t plan too it’s just hard when the craving is stuck in your head
  8. Thank you! Honestly I weighed myself today after I posted it and I was down 3 more pounds!
  9. So to be honest I’m two days post op and I know I have a long way to go before I can have foods that I’m craving but I’ve been craving carneasada fries really bad and idk how to kick it out of my head. Do you guys do well with red meat later on? I know the fries are out of the question but it’s mainly the mean I want. Please anyone who has had red meat or knows the kind of craving I’m talking about. Please send advice!
  10. Hi everyone. I was wondering if you guys tried to weigh yourselves or if you waited for your doctor appointments to see how much weight you’ve lost? I’m nervous because I want to make sure I’m losing weight but I don’t want to discourage myself ya know? I look like I have lost some weight too definitely in my face and neck.
  11. I got my surgery on the 28th and I’ve been up and down in my weight for years as well. As Lon as you follow everything pre op and have a good support system for your post op it’ll be worth it.
