Im kind of going thru the same thing. I have 2.7 in a 4. Banded June 18th, got my last fill week of Thanksgiving. have lost 60-59-58 up and down for the last three weeks now. I still get full fairly easy but I don't stay full for long. I go to dr tues and don't know whether to ask or not for a tweek. I think I am almost there but not sure. My band is very moody. One day it is tight, the next I can eat. Most days I can hardly get meat in without getting stuck but by the same token I am under stress right now and that has a whole lot to do with my band. I have lost about 11 lbs since thanksgiving but I was loosing alot faster than that. Of course went thru the holidays with a few extra meals. Do you all think I should get one? Beckyo

I haven't been here for a while. I was at 55 lbs right before Xmas, then gained 3 lbs. Got that off and now since the first (Today is the 7th Wed.) I have lost two more. EEE Ha ha. I try to get out of exercise every now and then but I am back at it. Beckyo

Man, you guys are loosing way faster than me. I have lost 55 lbs since June 18. Maybe I need some more fills???? i am happy with my weight loss though. Beckyo

Hi, I posted last saying I was at 2.7cc. It has been two weeks today since I had that last fill. I am very very tight. I also have a 4cc band. I am going to give it another two weeks and then if I can't eat much at that time, I will ask for a slight unfill. My opinion is that you have to eat to loose. Beckyo

Hi everyone, I got thru the holiday fine and now I am concen trating on getting thru the next one. I have lost 51 lbs so far but last month I lost 71/2 inches so that was good also. Long, I wanted to say that I have a 4cc band also and I am now at 2.7cc. This last fill has really given me good restriction. Now I have to get used to eating slower and smaller bites. Anyway, good to hear everyone is doing well. Beckyo:thumbup:

Hi, My first fill was 1.2cc, 2nd was .05cc, 3rd was .05cc and just had one last Tues (today is Saturday) of .05cc which totals 2.7cc. My nurse told me this last time that my band holds up to 5cc so I am assuming I have a 4cc band also. So far I have lost 51lbs. I think I might be done with fills for a while. This last one might be my sweet spot. It usually takes a week for this to kick in for me so we will see. Beckyo

Hi, my first fill was 1.2cc, 2nd was .05cc, third 0.5cc = 2.2cc total. I am going in this Thursday for another fill. I have lost a total of 48 lbs. This last fill was the first time I understood restriction. I can eat anything I want, but I get full and I am not starving any more unless I wait too long to eat. I think I want another fill but not sure if thats what I need or not. I don't have that much fill in me but I work very hard on the exercise and I also work very very hard on the food end. I do want to be able to eat, but I don't want to not be able to eat regular food. I can eat popcorn or anything right now, except I don't do well with roast (too stringy) and I don't do well with bread at all so I don't eat it but I can eat Pasta okay. I went to dinner the other night and had egg plant parmesean, a salad and a side of pasta. Ate 1/2 salad, both eggplants and 1/2 pasta. Do you think that is too much to be able to eat? I don't loose every week but my average is pretty good. I do walk 2.4 miles every day though. Beckyo

I have lost 35lbs so far. Have had one fill and maybe a fill next week. We will see. Sounds like everyone is doing well. I am happy with my weight loss but I also give myself credit because I work very hard with this program. Need to change my ticker soon but waiting until after Dr. next week. Beckyo:rolleyes:

Hi everyone tonight, I was banded on June 18 and when I went to Dr. for post op I was down a total of 19 lbs (including the 7 I lost for pre-op. Yesterday the 19th I started on regular food so am now having to figure out this new challenge. When I went to the Dr. on Jul 17 I asked him when I can get a fill. He said four weeks more since I have lost well. I did'nt want to wait four more weeks but we will see how I do for a while. Glad to hear everyone is doing well this week. Becky0:wink_smile:

Hey I am from Springfield and had my band on June 18, 2008. Went to Dr. in Peoria for Insurance reasons and have lost 19 lbs so far. Hey KZibutis. Are you related to Nancy. Hi to all, I got banded on June 18, and am just now starting to fill hungry. It took a while but every day I am getting hungrier. I go to Dr.. tomorrow so we will see. I can't get a fill for two more weeks and am running out of mushies ideas. I have this week to go on mushies and then to regular food. I hope everyone is doing okay this week.:smile2: Beckyo

Hi to all tonight, I was banded on June 18th and have lost exactly ten pounds yesterday (Wed.) I lost about 7 the week before. So I feel great about my loss also. I am on mushies but don't really crave anything yet either. Today I was hungry for the first time and I think it was because I waited too long for lunch. Well hope everyone is doing okay. Hi, I was banded on June 18th. I started mushies today. I lost 9 lbs preop and 7.2 since surgery. I have also slowed down but I am not starving. I mean I am a little hungry but have a hard time getting in all liquids, Protein and mushies. Hope this goes good for everyone also. Beckyo

Hi to everyone, I too was banded on June 18th, and am doing wonderful. I only had three days of clear after surgery and then one week of full liquids for one week. Tomorrow is mushie day for me for three weeks. I have lost 7 lbs since the 18th so I think I am doing pretty good. Not having much bm though. Everyone seems to react different to this band. I went to TGIf tonight for dinner and ordered a bowl of brocolli cheese Soup and ate half. Well good look to everyone for the weekend. Beckyo:tt2:

Hi to all Jazzy Junes. Sounds like everyone is doing good so far. I looked at the chart and it looks good. I gotta get on this. today is day nine for me since surgery. Full liquids are going down just fine and I'm getting hungry. Saturday I start mushies.:thumbs_up: I feel like I am in starvation mode. Hi to all , today is day four for me and I am doing great. For all of you that are scared to death, it is okay to be afraid. I was very scared, not of the surgery but the lap band. It has been pretty good for me so far. I had a couple of uncomfortable days and today is just great for me. Now to cathychatts, I think it was you or someone sent me something to start recording my information and weight and I must have erased it. Hi , I am going to be banded tomorrow afternoon. I am curious about the difference in band sizes? My surgeon is using the 10 band on me. Does this mean that it will take me longer to get enough fills to get to my sweet spot or does the size of the band even matter and how do they go about choosing the size? Beckyo

Hi all, I am going to see Dr. Marshall. I went thru my psych evaluation last week and now waiting for Insurance approval. I am pretty sure I will get approved very soon. My question is what did this RN say about Dr. Rossi. I hope these Doctors are good. The Psych I went to, told me they are some of the best in Illinois for this type of surgery. I sure hope so. I have to travel to get all of this done and the future fills so I don;t know much about them but would very much like some input. Becky April 29, 2008

Hi Quincy girl, I have been going to Dr Hammers support groups even though I will be having my surgery in Peoria. Dr. Hammer is a wonderful Doctor and I would trust him with any surgery I had. He has pretty much done any surgery I had to have but I can't go to him because of my Insurance. I think the Doctors in Peoria are good also. At least I hope so. Well good luck to you. Bochs:drool:

Hi, I saw you mentioned Dr. Hammer's name. He didn't do your surgery did he? Do you go to his support groups. I went to his last month, so I don't have to travel to Peoria. I wish I could have had him do my surgery, but when I started this process, he was not doing lapband. Anyway I will be glad to get this done and overwith. Becky

Hi to all. My name is Becky and from Springfield. I am having my psyc appt. on April 17, 2008 and then I should have a date at Peoria Surgical Group, St Marys OSF with Dr. Marshall. Has anyone used him or this group for lap band. I am nervous but happy.Does anyone know how long it takes to get appointment for surgery after psyc appt. Oh and by the way Hi Terri from Riverton. I have talked with you just recently. Went to Dr. Hammers support group and it was definitely more informative. Would love to hear from anyone who has done this or soon will.
