  1. Ate least with diet she will be able to eat. Heck 6 months with out eating is crazy. Good Luck to both of you. It is a whole new chapter in both of your lives. I used to think my best meals were behind me, but resently I went with my mom to a dinner theater and had the best meal of my life. I think with this surgery you savor every bite of food. Good Luck again. Alison
  2. Don't worry. I came home alone to my apartment. I did spend one night at the hospital. She will be fine. I am sure that the doc and the dietition will visit the room. Keep babyfood on hand or sugar free popsicles or jello on hand. My doc advainced me to pureed on the 3rd day. Water is the key. Everything will be ok. Just be there for your wife. I did it on my own. Don't bring any hamburgers or food into the house. Damn that was mine problem. The smell of food can drive her nuts. Eat out, but just say you are running arronds. Sorry for the mis-spelled words.
  3. i am five days out and mine kinda opened up. I just put a band-aid on the bleeder and it went away in a few hours.
