  1. Hello all! I'm in DeKalb County, not very far from most of yall. Im scheduled to go to a seminar next week. Im a State employee with UHC. Different people have said different things on here abt them so I called to see for myself. When I asked by name they said no! Then a couple of days ago I asked by procedural code and they said I'd have to have a medical necessity letter. Guess it wont hurt to try huh?
  2. Are you a State of GA employee?
  3. Im a state of GA employee. I called UHC a few months ago and asked if this type of surgery was covered and they said no way no how. Then after being on this site, I learned that its best to inquire about the code for the band, which is 43770. Well I called with the procedural code yesterday and they told me that I would have to submit a letter of medical necessity from my doctor. Its not a "your approved" but it definitely isnt a "NO!"
