  1. Thank you for sharing. Except for height, our pre-op stats and body shape are similar. I can't wait to look as great as you do! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. Did month 1 pre-op visits in March '17. Stalled due to non supportive husband and I lost my job. Straightened his attitude, got a new job, and now I'm back in the saddle. Up until my pregnancy at age 26, my weight was at 100 to 110. I'd been a noodle my entire life. Weightlifting brought me up to 110 lbs and dropped me from a size 4 to a size 0. Pregnancy- not the beautiful experience everyone dreams of. Gained 80 lbs, 6 weeks bed rest before delivery. Terrible acne, 36 hour labor (pelvis too narrow). Horrible. My amazing son is 17 and I still look like I'm pregnant with twins, one of them is apparently gestating in my chin. I am at an all time high of 230, recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, diabetes, and sleep apnea. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 10 years ago. This, my beautiful partners in the journey, is how mine came to be. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. That is hilarious. Pics of the medicine ball everywhere, like the roaming gnome, would be fun. Name the medicine ball. Buy it gifts. Give it a seat at the table. Also a balance ball - sit on it everwhere, restaurants, nail salon, just for the pics. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. Chantix. I'm slowly forgetting to smoke. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. I'm finally going to take pictures with my husband. I feel embarrassed for him when I'm in the pic with him right now. He has given me everything else I could ever want. So, I will treat myself to being his blonde bombshell!! LOL Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. That is so good to hear! I'm trying to avoid Vicodin or any other opioid until surgery, but that's not until March or so. At this time I can do housework in 15 min increments, grocery shopping is 30 min max. The pain is also due to osteoarthritis. Not ready for spinal fusion though! 7. My husband thought I was ridiculous to even consider WLS. As my physical struggles mounted and my diagnoses started to pile up, he became more neutral. What got him on my side was meeting a coworker of his who was 1 year out. She took the time to talk to him, answer his questions, and totally sold him on it. The hard part is finding someone your husband will listen to. We all know our own husbands won't listen to us! Lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. I understand that many issues such as diabetes, hypertension, etc., are corrected by WLS. Has anyone had relief of chronic lumbar pain and/or pain associated with fibromyalgia? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. Nature's Plus have a great liquid multivitamin as well as other easily absorbed supplements. It's worth a peek.
  10. If you still have it, you could make it into an accent pillow! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. OMG! Great job! I have so many questions! How long did it take? Any loose skin issues? I love that pink dress!! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using BariatricPal mobile app
