  1. I am in the same boat. I am getting banded in a week (4.9) and I am freaking out a little today. I am doing my pre op diet and concerned that becasue it is so hard, what will life be like after the band. WIll I really be able to change my eating habits? Will I love it as much as everyone else seems to? I thought about just trying to do it myself one more time but I have been doing that for many years and I just need to get off this yo-yo! I know in the long run this will be a great thing, I just love to cook and obviously eat and I don't want to feel like an outsider for the rest of my life...
  2. I am having my surgery in MX on April 9th and was put on a high protein diet for 7 days to shrink the liver. THey told me I didnt have to do the liquids, but I am for several "meals" becasue it just seems easier! Good Luck!
  3. Greetings from Washington. My BFF & I are getting banded together on April 9th! We can't wait. I think it will be easier going through this with her rather then alone. Good Luck to you & your friend!
