I have BCBS IL as well. You can look on line for blue distinction centers in your area or call the customer service number in your area. You can also ask the Bariatric department at your hospital if they are a BDC.

I didn't know they were still around! I too have BCBS IL. I had lap band removed in July. Now going through process for RNY surgery. My doctor didn't want to do it at the same time. Hoping I don't have an issue getting approved but if I do I may hire them! May I ask how much they charge? Thanks! Did you get your surgery date? I am pre op going thru the hoops. I have BCBS IL Teamcare. It is PPO. It doesn't state plus or premier on my card. But through my husbands work UPS they don't get a choice as far as I know.
