    I'm on the journey as well. I was told it doesn't hold up your surgery but a good number of surgeons do require you to bring your CPAP machine the day of the Surgery. Everything facility and hospital is different. I would definitely confirm with your surgeon to be sure.     I'm not hiding but I have made the choice to only discuss my decision with Family & Friends that I know will be supportive. That has made my circle somewhat small lol but I'm okay with that.
