  1. Congrats on your surgery! And your levels will come down. Your body definitely has to heal and your hormones will be a little wonky because of the changes to your body. I’m 8 weeks out now but at 6 weeks I found out I no longer have high cholesterol. It all happens before you know it. And I keep hearing about orgain protein. I use EAS vanilla flavor, 30g protein per serving and I believe the sugar is like 2g. To change the flavor I use sugar free creamer or sugar free syrup (chocolate or strawberry). Best wishes on your journey and great job on your weight loss so far!
  2. I bought a stomach binder and it worked great. Helped me not feel so all over the place. Stopped using it after about a week and a half though because I started feeling better by then. Maybe get a hobby to focus on when you’re hyper focused on food. Best wishes!
  3. Have you tried gas x? It was my go to post op! And don’t feel bad about the 1lb. I gained 10lbs in the hospital from fluids and gas. Best wishes!
  4. Isn’t it amazing what a little exercise will do? Walked today for a little over an hour and almost 3 miles. Went from 259 to 257!
  5. My body stalls like every 2 lbs and then I’ll gain and lose to the amount I lost for days until I drop another pound maybe 2. It’s very annoying
  6. I’m not going to lie, there are so many pages of convo that I have gotten overwhelmed! I will try to do better with keeping up with everyone
  7. I did a day of clear liquids, 2 weeks of full liquids, 1 week purée, 1 week soft, then back to a normal diet. This was how my surgeon told me to progress. Everyone’s journey is definitely different
  8. lol, I remember all of those neverending calls! I still get a call from the pharmacy here and there to make sure I’m taking my proper meds ?
  9. Congrats! Are you excited to be on the post op side? May you get some relief from the gas pain. Get well soon!
  10. Oops, I see 3 dates tomorrow! Good luck everyone!
  11. Your stomach shrunk, same thing happened to me!
  12. Good luck to both of you tomorrow! See you both on the post op side!
  13. Premier bananas and cream is my favorite. I have yet to have run into the cookies and cream, sounds yummy!
  14. The most popular shakes are the premier ones. So many different flavors. But if you have a texture problem (I feel your pain). Maybe you need to find a protein powder and mix it to your liking with your liquid of choice (milk or water). Best wishes!
  15. You’ve got this! Sending prayers and positive vibes! See you on the post op side ?
  16. MoM does the job every time! And it could be a combination of that and natural weight fluctuations or water. Glad you got some relief though!
  17. My surgeon always suggest MoM. Gross but it works!
  18. Including my 2 week liquid diet, 35lbs
  19. It’s amazing how great I feel! My knees no longer hurt. I’m not out of breath, tired, or achy after walking. I feel like a new person honestly!
  20. Thank you! At the end of the day I just have to try to get this tool working. I’m sure the stalls will end when my body finally adjusts. I can’t give up on it, that’s not an option. I didn’t go through this to be the same!
  21. 6 weeks post-op today! I can’t believe how quickly 6 weeks went by. I cannot say that I’m truly happy with my progress. Due to hormones, stress, and everything else my body is just fighting me and not losing at all. If it weren’t for how great I feel, I’d probably have all of the regrets. I do notice slight changes in my body. Everything is looser, my boobs and thighs are shrinking, my tummy is super jiggly (but not smaller). All I can do is keep on pushing through this stall and hoping for the best!
  22. I just recently bought bariatric capsule vitamins from procare health. I like them so far. Also bought their calcium chews
