  14. Hi all. So has anyone else delt with this? I'm 12 days post-op and my stomach itches profusely, and it won't stop. I called my doctors office, and per their instructions I tried benadryl and calamine lotion. Unfortunately neither one has helped. Does anyone have any other advice or solutions, its driving me crazy?! HW: 289 SW: 277 (DOS 8/30/17) CW: 258 Sent from my LG-V495 using BariatricPal mobile app

  18. Hi my name is Amber. I'm 43 years old, no kids (I do have 2 fur babies though), and widowed. I've been to hell and back in the past 3 years, and I've suffered a lot of loses. I'm trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and find me again. I had RNY surgery on 8/30 (which was also the 3 year anniversary of my husband's passing), so I'm 8 days out and done really well up till now. I seem to have hit a wall, just the thought of drinking another shake makes me ill. I'm not getting nearly enough liquids down to do any good, and I don't know what to do. I'm afraid that I'm going to get sick, or fail!!! Any help, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Sent from my LG-V495 using BariatricPal mobile app

  25. Hi All, My name is Amber and I'm 43 years old. I've had a really rough 3 years, with a lot of loses, weight not being one of them. I was suffering from depression, and noticed that I was gaining weight at a really steady pace (I gained almost a 100lbs). So per doctor instructions, I looked into Gastric Bypass Surgery, and with high hopes started my new journey last October. I had surgery on August 30th, I'm six days out, and healing really well. But I find myself having issues with the post-op liquids, just thinking about drinking them makes me ill. Has anyone else had this reaction? And if so, what did you do to prevail?
