  1. Thanks! Good luck with your labs. Sent from my SM-J327P using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. Congrats! I am at a stall...BIG TIME! I've had far too many bumps in the road in the 3+ months since surgery. 2 very large ulcers, 2 strictures. I'm down 90lbs so far, who's is awesome, but I have spent most meals throwing up. I've been feeling pretty crappy and my bloodwork was not the best. Low in a lot of levels. Looking forward to feeling better or at least more like myself. Woe is me, I suppose. Sent from my SM-J327P using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. I had RNY 10/30/17. Yesterday I had my 3 month appointment. I am down 90lbs. Today I had to go for my second endoscope today due to structure and ulcers. It's been a rough 3 months. I'm tired of throwing up and feeling like crap. Hope my other October peeps are faring better. Sent from my SM-J327P using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. I had bypass 10/30. Within the last month, I've had issues eating and severe pain and vomiting. Had a scope and I have 2 very large ulcers at the stricture. Trying to treat with 2 different meds, but still vomiting. Also, I'm hitting up to two week stalls on weight loss. This has been such a frustrating process for me. Since surgery 3 months ago, I don't know that I've had a day where I have felt good. My stats are good, on the right road, but frustrated at throwing up and feeling crappy. Anyone having similiar issues? Sent from my SM-J327P using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. OMG! I do too! Ever since I had my Lapband in 2014, I weighed daily because when I had a decent restriction, weight fell off of me daily. I've been stalled for 4 days. I compare everything to my Lapband experience. I start getting doubts... Sent from my SM-J327P using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. That's aawesome! I just assumed the weight would fall off daily. I mean we are barely consuming calories. I had Lapband before and when I had a decent restriction, weight would just drop off of me.
  7. How have you down with weight loss? HW: 297 SW: 284 CW: 265 Sent from my SM-J327P using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. I had RNY 10/30. Have you experienced any stalling of weight loss?
  9. What is your portion size of food? How much of the banana are you eating at a meal? How much shepherds pie?
  10. I have pain across the top of my stomach-just underneath my breasts. Sharp pains when I take deep breaths. My drain tube site wont stop leaking. I go through 4 doubled up sterile pads every 3-4 hours. My skin is so raw from the tape. It literally bleeds when I have to pull the tape off. I also split one of my sites. So that is another open wound. Honestly, its tiring. Day 6 and it seems im moving backwards. My follow up isnt until Friday. And, my surgeons do surgeries on Monday and Tuesday. So, I wait...
  11. TOM ffor me too-early. Was expecting 11/10. UGH!
  12. I also have gas pain still-gerring better, but it's there. I have the not hungry or full feeling as well. Did anyone else gain weight? I started at 297. Got down to 284 pre-surgery. Came home yesterday at 295. ?
  13. I feel the same way. I still have my drain until tomorrow. I got a fever the evening. 100.3. My nurse said it was pretty much normal because my body is trying to figure out what the hell just happened. Now if only I could pass gas...
  14. Finally better. I was in so much pain that I was in recovery a long time. Got to my room at 12:45. I tried walking not long after and bled to the ground. This happened 3 times. I was in so much pain and exhausted that I didn't try again til 330
  15. Thanks! I just remember how hard it was when I banded. I did lose 19lbs in two weeks before that surgery though.
  16. 10/30 here! Pre ob diet starts tomorrow. UGH!
  17. 10/30 here. I'm nervous abt the food part, not the procedure. I'd rather not have to spend the night...
  18. Are you 10/30 also? I'd prefer to chat via email, is that ok? MeganMeredith2015@yahoo.com
  19. I believe I also have lymphedema. My ankles are VERY swollen, and I also have the band. My calves swell so very badly. And, just above my right knee, I have a huge swelling. I'm also in achy pain all day. I'm going to my GP on 10/10, and my bypass is 10/30. Hoping for the best! Sent from my SM-J327P using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. I am scheduled for 1030. I am a Lapband revision. I had my Lapband for 4 years and lost 191lbs. Granted, I was sick for most of that time, but I was down to 144. I loved life. And then, BOOM! I had horrible pains. Doubled over for 2 months. Removed my lapband, didn't find a problem and 10 months later I am up 120lbs. I am miserable, I am beside myself and I am hating myself. Gastric bypass is 10/30 and seems a world away.
