Antidepressants & Anti-anxiety meds wt gain?
Hi Brandy I'm on paxil, didn't notice any weight gain but I do have the other side effects I was really sick when I started taking paxil,it lasted about 3 weeks lost 20lbs but soon gained that back once i was not sick.I think paxil saved my life because I now feel so normal.I think I was depressed all my life and didn't know what was wrong.I like you have generations of family depression. It spiraled out of control once I hit forty.Hang there we'll get through it.I wonder if the meds are the reason I don't feel full for so long.

hi I was banded mar25 and like you I was lucky and had no nausea at all I was hungry and did do soft foods by 2 weeks my dr. said I could.I can tell you once my swelling went down I was able to eat alot more and felt full for about 4 hours.By week 4 I could eat everything including all the things that banded people should have trouble with.I had 1 fill and still no restriction i can still eat everything.I hope more fills will fix this I want that full feeling again like the first few days after surgery.Don't be to hard on your self none of us are prefect try to get back on track and don't look back just ahead to this new chapter in your life.:blushing: Pat

Hi I was banded mar25 and did not have to have a psych evaluation.I think that is only required if insurance is paying and people from the US for surgery

slipped band....
I have been very lucky and have little pain anywhere, just a little tenderness.I have not been nausated at all.I'm on soft foods now and doing fine I have no problem eating the cup of food.I do feel full but it does not last for 4 hours.I guess i will need to be filled in a few weeks. My dr. says then I should only be able to hold about 2ozs or a 1/4 cup. has this been anyothers experience.
