  1. I had the same thing happen. I think I lost my weight at the top but not in the hip and thigh area. I think we have to do a lot of exercising for that area to come down. then we can go get new clothes!!
  2. I had several people who told me that I could lose the weight if I ate right and exercised. Problem was I coud not do those things! I even had a "friend" who sent me a newspaper story about someone who died from the lap band surgery. But I noticed that this friend was a very slim girl who was always on a diet because she was 5 lbs over her perfect weight. When you were a size 6 dress, I guess that is a big thing. Well, I was a 26 and after I had my band (Feb. 26, 2008) I am now a size 20 ( lost 32lbs). Tell your "friends" to worry about themselves and you worry about how your goind to live your life when you are thinner!!
  3. Hi, My name is Susan and I had my band 6 weeks ago and have lost 30 lbs already. I never had any problems eating except I have to remember to eat slowly or I do a lot of burbing. I am so glad I did this!!
