  5. Day 5: feel back to normal. Dry throat and tight chest are gone. Not hungry at all. Like the taste of ensure lite and puréed soup. Lost 9 pounds so far

  7. Hi everyone, I had my endoscopic sleeve procedure done at Weill Cornell (NY Presbyterian Hospital) on Monday. So it has been only 48 hours. Everything went quite smoothly. I did not have any nausea. I went for an Upper GI X-ray and follow up blood work the next morning. I then flew home a few hours later (New York to Pittsburgh). The only discomforts am having are a very sore throat and tight chest. These are due to the tubes they insert during the procedure. I am not hungry at all and am currently trying to find some drinks that taste good to me. My mouth is extremely dry. Since this is my 3rd day - I am going to start with some Butternut Squash creamy soup. Also - excited to say that I have already lost 5.5 pounds.

  10. Hi- my procedure will be done at Cornell Weill in NYC. I fly home the next day to Pittsburgh so I am hoping that I'm not extremely nauseous.
  11. I am scheduled for September 25th. I seem to have a lot of "anti nausea" prescriptions including a suppository. How was the post procedure nausea? I am flying home the next afternoon from NY to Pittsburgh. Afraid I'll be sick on the plane!
