  1. Hey everyone! After thinking of weight loss surgery for over 2 years, I finally made the call last week for an appointment. They were able to get me in today! I am so excited but nervous as heck! I am needing a sleep study ? and an endoscope test. I do get to pass the 3 month dietary restriction due to my insurance requirements for BMI. It sounds like I need to lose 25 lbs before I can schedule surgery and possibly another 25 on the preop diet. (Which I am very nervous about failing). I broke down last week and told my husband, who encouraged me to make the call. I am so thankful he is on my side but I do not plan on telling any other family members. Please tell me I'm not the only one out there like this??
