  1. hiya, had my band 2 years ago and felt fine and doing well. about 6 weeks ago woke with a racing heart, high blood pressure and a burning pain in top of my stomach, was rushed to A&E. doc said my band was too tight, the next day the bariactric nurse deflated my band of 7mls and put 4 mls back in. 2 weeks later the same happened again, so had total defill. had barum swallow and it showed fluid went through my band but rebounded once it hit my stomach. had 6 day hospital stay where i was put on a drip and water only, am now waiting for endoscopy to see if my band has eroded. has anyone else had similar symptoms? or had a band that erroded. i feel shakey inside and am on tablets to stop me being sick. thanks cath x x x
  2. Im in England and had my op on the 12th March. my Doc dosent do the first fill for 12 weeks also, he told me that this is the norm here. I also have to do liquids for 4weeks and mushies for 4weeks before i can start normal foods.
