  1. Hi I am also on Efexor XR (150mg). I am 3 weeks out right now, and I have been taking them all along. Doc knew, and the night after my surgery when I was in hospital the nurse gave it to me by emptying the capsule into one of those medicine measures (tasted horrible like the inside of a beanbag). Anyway I am still taking it now, in capsule form, along with other medications, with no problems. I cant go even one day without it or I get those horrible zaps. Good luck
  2. Hello, I was banded this past Wednesday by Dr Talbot at SIOS. I am feeling pretty good, although still a little sore. My starting weight was 214 lb, I am now 202 lbs. I am feeling really motivated at this point. My surgery was covered by my health insurance, and the gap payment ($6500) I was able to get taken from my superannuation. THe last few days I have been spending a lot of time reading posts on this site and it has been a great resource for me. Anyway look forward to reading more of your stories on here. Marianne
