  1. Hello everyone, My lap-band was about 17 yrs ago. Haven't had problems until now. When I had my surgery, the doc said if I was "plugged" I could try using some meat tenderizer but I forgot the amounts and I am in mesouri. About 2 days ago I started with something, I was up all night throwing up mucous and with pain. I haven't been able to take any liquid and food. Yesterday the pain was a little better, but still no liquid or food, today about the same. Something has to give! I really haven't had much problem until now and the weight loss has been great. I'd appreciate any suggestions at this point. Thanks
