  1. Those who are short (5'2-5'3 and under) and were 215lbs or less or had a BMI of 40 or less, did the weight come off slow for you? My surgeon warned me that the weight loss may be slow for me due to my weight/BMI being at the bare minimum for surgery. At first, I didn't believe it because I have had some pretty decent weight loss so far but now I can tell its starting to slow down so I am just curious what others experiences were! My Stats: Surgery: 9/18 HEIGHT: 5'0" BMI: 40 HW: 212 SW: 205 CW: 173 GOAL: 130 Thanks :-)
  2. 5'0" HW 212 SW 205 CW 173 GOAL 130 I have been in a stall for a week so I am hoping it breaks soon. My doctor wants be at 160-165 by the Dec 7...ugh...
  3. Hi! I was sleeved 9/18 and doing pretty good so far except for the constant pain/gas in the middle of my chest. Literally every swallow of water, soup, SF jello, SF pudding etc -- I feel it. Even when I am not consuming anything, I feel it sometimes. I am still able to mostly get my protein/water intake in but I am just so uncomfortable and miserable due to this:-( I did have my hiatal hernia repaired during surgery so I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue with their recovery after having the sleeve and hiatal hernia repair? When did it finally start to go away or feel better? Thanks!!
  4. I am in south Jersey and tenatively scheduled for the end of September!!
  5. Hi All! Has anyone gone through the insurance process with Tricare? If so how was your experience with approval? I am completing my final pre-op testing next week and then it's off to Tricare North for approval. Thanks!
