  2. Hi, I know this is an old post but wanted to say I am in the same boat. Diagnosed with lipoedema a few weeks ago. Am on the waiting list for a sleeve. Asked my Team for a meeting to discuss as a sleeve will have no impact on fat in bum and legs; it is very likely that I will always have a high BMI because of the weight in my legs which kind of changes my view on WLS for me. Has anybody had any luck discussing this with their WLS team?

  6. THIS! [emoji1369] That question just keeps bouncing around in my head. I even planned for and started the post-op solid food phase as a practice run and failed miserably on day 2. I can only hope I don't understand/believe the impact of surgery on the brain/stomach connection and hormone production yet. More research to do for me...
