  1. Lol... what a cute quote! ! Love that Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. I've experiment and love the Premier protein shakes but don't think they are financial fiscal on the pre-op but going to grab some for the post op since it'll take a bit longer to go thru. How are you doing today? Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. I have A 10 day liquid only diet and scheduled Sept. 7th I'm a little worried, thinking this might be the toughest part but reminding myself it's only temporary Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. I feel exactly the same way. Not worried one bit until those pre-op's and then reality set in. Like you, not enough to cancel but everything we've worked for is becoming our current reality! We'll do great Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. We're close. . I'm Sept. 7th GOOD LUCK Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. You tube has many many videos of suggested things to pack. I've watched 4 or 5 and have given me some great tips and reminders Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. I just got my surgery date today and my insurance also made me do a 6 month program that was non affiliated with the surgeon. I finished it last week, scheduled surgery today but now waiting for insurance approval (keeping fingers crossed) that we have jumped through all the hoops and red tape they require. My only advice. . Put yourself first and DON'T GIVE UP...6 months goes so fast! ! Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. Lmao... exactly my thoughts! ! Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. My pre-op is also the 8th but surgery not scheduled yet. I imagine, like you, that joints well feel SO much better with excess weight gone. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I know it will still be an issue but maybe a little more easy to deal with. . Best of luck to you!! Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Here. . Not "hear" oops.. lol Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. Thank you SO much! Your guessing was spot on. I have used food in times of fear, happiness, sadness and every other emotion. With the previous 5 months I've done really well learning to deal with those emotions in other ways until recently. I am however, day by day getting back my motivation to keep fighting the fight! My excited has also been replaced with fear and I think that's hear to stay until surgery is done. Congrats on the surgery btw!! Looking forward to being on the other side Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. Sorry your dealing with this too..hope you get some motivation back from others on here. Thanks for the response, at least I'm not alone [emoji6] Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. Congratulations! ! Love hearing the pain is minimal. Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. Rather than being excited for last nutritionist appointment and first pre-op with Dr that helps keep you motivated and excited. Instead I find I'm not starving but could eat everything in the house. Motivation Has become slim to non. Never felt like this is the previous 5 months on program. Stress maybe? Comforting my surgery fear with food? I DON'T KNOW AAHH but I have to turn this negativity around. . Anyone else dealt/dealing with this? Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. This sounds exactly like my BCBS. I'm at 40 bmi but the moment I fall below, I have to rely on a co-morbidity. It's a game of jumping thru hoops and pushing thru red tape Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. We are shooting for closed and open only if an emergency arises. I'll keep searching for info and share it. If you find out anything more keep me in touch [emoji6] Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. Good luck! I'm excited for you. This little extra procedure adds an extra element of anxiety (at least for me) haha. . Can't wait to hear how it goes[emoji6] Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. Seriously, I know I'm not the only one having this procedure haha... somone give me a heads up Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. I'm very confident in my Surgeon and he has much expirence in doing the take down and sleeve as one procedure, so I'm not really wanting opinions on that. I'm just curious of the recovery and hospital stay of anyone that has had this combined surgery. Thank you [emoji6] Sent from my SM-S765C using BariatricPal mobile app
