  1. Actually, I don't tell ANYONE what to do. It's enough for me to get me to do what I want!
  2. Not much surprises me about that board. Maybe the fact that some of the people who were obviously duped believe that by coming to this board they can somehow diminish their responsibility for their own behavior, or somehow support their own behavior as being above-board, when most people would recognize it for what it was.
  3. 1. Get friendly Always refer to your opponent by his/her first name. Your messages will seem warm and friendly, despite the rabid ferocity of their content. After a few exchanges, begin to use a corruption of your opponent's name - begin with "William", then change to "Billy", then change to something like "Billy-Boy". Women don't enjoy having their names shortened either, so make sure that "Mrs. Elizabeth C. Osbourne-Smythe PhD, QC" is always addressed as "Lizzy". Absolutely.
  4. All that is happening now is a desparate attempt to prove that they were somehow "Right". In essence, they KNOW they were wrong, but pride will not allow them to acknowledge that in front of the entire world. They are worried about looking like fools and suckers for the line of B.S. that they bought, hook, line & sinker.
  5. I didn't even care enough about this topic to read it all. My opinion is that when people start acknowledging the truth, as opposed to defending their positions, some progress might be made, but I am not holding my breath.

  8. Do it. May as well show the entire world what a liar she is.
  9. A little of both if I have the time. This next month is going to be exceptionally busy for me.
  10. I think one of the more amazing things about me having a band is that, after three years banded, I learn somethuing new almost every day...... ....unlike some Band Practitioners. :heh:
  11. There's a plot??? Teach ME to not pay attention!:faint:
  12. I'm gonna have to get some of those, everyone is talking about them!
  13. Really? So.... What do you think of Sondra Tabor?
  14. My advice is to stay on your post op diet and stay OFF of the scales.
  15. I had that for a MONTH.
  16. Oh yeah. Take the pain pills and walk a lot, that was the only thing that helped me!
  17. Physical hunger is not an issue for me at all, and hasn't been since my operation. Head-Hunger, or psychological hunger, is the issue, and I believe that lessens as time goes by. Welcome to the board!
  18. I never felt the band at all untill I obtained effective restriction on fill number 4, which was given 24 weeks after surgery.
  19. Any patient who is unwilling to accept the need for lifestyle change will do poorly with the Lap-Band, and if the doctor is following ALLERGAN'S patient guidelines they would not perform Lap-Band surgery on that patient.
  20. Hello and congratulations!:clap2:
  21. Real men prefer curvy women! (At least *I* do!)
  22. Men are far more insecure in relationships than women realize. If the man feels that the woman is losing weight in order to attract another man, they will become very anxious.
  23. I'm working on it in my spare time. Unfortunately, I don't have much of that right now.
  24. Well, one thing is for sure, we are not going to meet any perfect people in this world.
